Daytime 0700-2000 Private Dock to Dock Transport = $8.00/min

Evening 2000-2200 Private Dock to Dock Transport = $10.00/min

Nighttime 2200-0000 Private Dock to Dock Transport = $12.00/min

Dark 0000-0600 Private Dock to Dock Transport = $15.00/min

Daytime 0700-2000 Porters for Hire = $9.00/min. Additional porters are at $1.00/min

Daytime Private Tours = $6.00/min

Daytime Shuttle Service(loaded both ways) = $7.00/min

There is a late fee of $80 for every 10 minutes.

Credit cards and debit cards incur a 3.5% processing fee. Due to the current global situation, fuel surcharge may apply on the date you book your trip.

This does not include any loading/offloading times. This is a range, and the final charge will reflect the actual job time. This does not account for any weather or traffic.

Billing Examples

Private Dock to Dock - If one port is within the peninsula of Clayton, billing starts at the agreed upon port at the agreed upon time, and stops when party fully offloads at the discharge port.

Example: Client wants to be picked up at the UTL at 10am, and brought to the Harbor Hotel. Billing starts at the UTL at 10am and ends at the Harbor Hotel when the party fully offloads. It is roughly a 7 minute ride from UTL to the Harbor Hotel. The charge is roughly $56.00 USD.

Private Dock to Dock - If no ports are within the peninsula of Clayton, billing starts at RJM, and ends when the party fully offloads at the discharge port.

Example: Client wants to be picked up at the CYC at 9pm and brought to the LTL. Billing starts at RJM and ends when the party fully offloads. It is roughly a 3 minute boat ride from RJM to CYC, and about 12 minutes to go from CYC to LTL. The charge is roughly $150.00 USD

Late Fees & Cancellations: Billing starts at the agreed upon port at the agreed upon time. There is a late fee of $80 for every 10 minutes. We suggest arriving early or communicating in advance with the manager of your change of time ASAP. Cancellations or time changes made less than 8 hours in advance of the scheduled event may incur a fee. The RJM Water Taxi does not cancel unless in extreme, unusual circumstances.

Example: The client books a daytime fare, RJM to the UTL for 11:30am. The client shows up at 11:15am and starts unloading bags onto the dock, and goes to park their car. They arrive back at the dock at 11:28am. The client is ready to go, so loading and billing starts.

Example: The client books a daytime fare, RJM to the UTL for 11:30am. They are traveling from hours away, and there was an accident on the highway. The client calls Maris and notifies her of this at 9am and asks to move it to 12pm, just to be safe. As the schedule is clear, this is no problem, and incurs no fee. We understand things happen while underway. Thank you for notifying us in a timely manner.

Example: The client books a daytime fare, RJM to the UTL for 11:30am. They are traveling from hours away, and there was an accident on the highway. They think they can still make it on time. They find out later on, they won’t make it in time. They call Maris at 11:15am to say they won’t be there till 1pm. They have now incurred a time change charge, as the vessel and crew have already been assembled and ready for the 11:30am.

• Our Water Taxi holds six people(souls), and the charge is the same regardless of the number of people in the vessel. A baby counts as a person.

• We are dog-friendly.

• Our water taxi runs 24/7 and accepts cash and credit cards onboard. Credit/debit cards incur a 3.5% processing fee. Keyed in debt/credit cards incur a 4% processing fee.

• Billing when loading starts, or when departing from RJM, and stops when the party is fully offloaded.

• There is a late fee of $80 for every 10 minutes.

• Cancellations or time changes made less than 8 hours before the scheduled event may incur a cancellation fee. The RJM Water Taxi does not cancel unless in extreme, unusual circumstances.

• Both water taxis are enclosed, so the weather is a non-issue for us.

• A credit card will be required at the time of booking.

• There is temporary parking at RJM to offload luggage, and free parking is found behind the Watertown Savings Bank, just down the road. It is a 2 minute walk.
