RJM Cargo Club
Started in 2023, the RJM Cargo Club has really grown. What started as a few bags of groceries a month, has turned into a daily, and weekly service, with deliveries and cargo such as pharmacy bags, grocereis from Sams Club and Costco, River Rat Cheese, fresh water from Frontenac Crystal Springs, bagged trash, ATV’s, side by sides, golf carts, couches, flowers, trees, rugs, carpets, lumber, pallets of material and more.

CURBSIDE CARGO: Clients can ship goods and groceries to RJM to be picked up at the clients’ leisure at the fuel dock or at the street.
WEEKLY CARGO DELIVERY: RJM transports goods and groceries to the public dock on various islands during a set time. While we are at the public docks, we accept goods to go to the Clayton Food Pantry located at St. Marys Church.
Examples of Goods & Groceries: items from Walmart, the Clayton Shurfine, PC, Sam’s Club, Costco, Aldi’s, Hobby Lobby, Shurfine, Reinmans, River Rat Cheese, Coyote Moon, Kinney’s, Frontenac Spring Water, small packages from UPS or FedEx etc.
GUEST TRANSPORT: Clients can reserve seats on board for $40/seat.
LIGHT CARGO 75: Clients can reserve cargo space for $75/space for light cargo transport to the public dock on various islands during a set time.
Examples of Light Cargo: ATV’s, side by sides, lawn mowers, household appliances, small propane tanks, bags of household trash, construction materials, garden materials, golf carts, jet ski trailers etc.
CONCIERGE CARGO: RJM transports goods, groceries, and light cargo directly to a client’s private dock anytime the client wants from 7am to 8pm, 7 days a week.
Disclaimer: RJM is not responsible for the condition the goods & groceries arrives in. RJM is responsible for maintaining the conditon in which the goods & groceries arrive in. This is an on-going, fine-tuning, work in progress service. We understand there might be some hiccups. We encourage and welcome feed back, constructive criticism, and potential ideas. We all have the same goal - to get resources to the islands.
How do I order/join? How does this all work?
First Things First:
Contact RJM and simply let the manager -Maris - know you would like to join, even if it is just a one time thing.
Know the schedule of when to ship your goods & groceries to RJM, and when they need to be picked up/shipped to your island.
Curbside Cargo: Once your goods arrive at RJM, you have 24 hours to pick them up, before an additonial storage charge is incurred. If the goods arrive at Friday 5pm, you need to pick them up by Saturday 5pm.
Weekly Cargo Delivery: Goods must arrive the day before the trip. For example, if the goods are to go on the Wednesday trip to Round Island, they must be delivered to RJM anytime on Tuesday.
Concierge Cargo: Goods can be shipped to RJM any day, and will be delivered same day or next day, whichever the client prefers.
Time to Ship Your Goods & Groceries to RJM
There are many stores that deliver to RJM such as the local Shurfine, Walmart Plus, Instacart, and local delivery crew. Pick you store and start shopping.

Once at the check out page, the delivery address is 664 Riverside Drive, Clayton New York 13624. If needed, our phone number is 315/777.6059 and the contact is Maris. We suggest putting in your phone number in case replacements are needed for your order.
At the check out window, it asks for a delivery time and date. Please select the date that matches your pick up window, and you may select any time before 6pm.
Once completed, please contact Maris with the delivery date, time, and the store name. The store name helps us identify your order, as the delivery drivers sometimes deliver more than one order at a time. We understand the time can be a range. Thats ok. If you are able to update Maris as the range tightens, that would be helpful. It is not required.
Once Maris obtains the goods, she properly stores them. Once the delivery date/time has arrived, she helps moves the goods into the appropriate vessel or car.
Time to Pick Up Your Goods & Groceries from RJM
CURBSIDE CARGO = You are picking them up within 24 hours of them arriving at RJM at either the fuel dock, or by car in the parking lot. You do not need to tell Maris you are coming, but it would speed up the process and would ensure there is room for you.
WEEKLY CARGO DELIVERY Tuesdays = You are picking your goods and groceries up on Tuesday at the the UTL. The vessel will be at the UTL by 0825 and will be there till 0840. If you would like to remain at your house, inquire about Elle’s & Eli’s Grindstone Delivery. For a small fee, Elle & Eli will meet the vessel at the UTL, collect your goods and groceries, and delivery right to your kitchen.
WEEKLY CARGO DELIVERY Wednesdays = You are picking your goods and groceries up on Wednesday at the Round Island Public Landing. The vessel will be at the landing by 0825 and will be there till 0840.
CONCIERGE CARGO = You tell RJM when and where you want your goods delivered. This is our white glove, luxury island service.

There were 10 bags of goods and groceries. For light cargo, they sent their side by side, 2 bags of mulch, and some garden plants. The client also ordered one 5-gallon water jug, shipped two amazon packages, has one bag from Kinneys, and wants to send two bags of trash back across. The boat ride took a total of 22 minutes. Total Charge is $149.00

A Division of the RJM Cargo Club
Every Tuesday, we will be running a vessel from RJM to the UTL and back, from 0800 to 0900
Every Wednesday, we will be running a vessel from RJM to Round Island and back, from 0800 to 0900.
Terms, conditions, and policies:
Each cargo spot runs a charge of $75 and allows 1 person in addition to the cargo.
The client must be present to load their own cargo and sign the Bill of Lading. Pending cargo type, RJM loading/offloading cargo in the client’s name can incur a charge. Should clients wish to utilize the loading/offloading service, please advise the manager when they reach out. This needs to be arranged ahead of time.
If your cargo requires the use of the RJM skidsteer, please note that on the form. There is a $50/cargo space fee for the use of the RJM skidsteer.
Loading at RJM begins at 0755, and we depart by 0815.
Loading/Offloading at UTL/Round Island begins at 0825, and we depart by 0840.
Offloading at RJM begins at 0855 and ends at 0905
Payment is due at each landing, before loading, unless the client is an accountholder and wishes to be billed for services rendered.
Fill out the form to request a space. Our manager will confirm your spot once the form is reviewed and accepted. You may also email, text, or call with details.
Reservations are required to ensure smooth operations. If there are no reservations, the barge does not sail.

Depends on the cargo. 87% of the time, not a problem at all, we understand. No charge. Please let us know when you will arrive, and we will meet you. Cargo dropped off earlier than Monday 0800 will incur a $20/day storage fee.
